Words that have been used to describe me:

  • “Purposeful Impactor” that strategically thinks through ways to impact others
  • “Relationally Intuitive” that will see things that others do not see in themselves
  • “Encouraging Shepherd” that loves on people well
  • "Faith-filled" by always believing there is hope in any situation
  • “Burden Bearer” that has the patience to listen and a depth of heart to care for others

As a native to Colorado I grew up spending a lot of time in the outdoors playing soccer, running and skiing. But my true love seemed to be anything that involved water. Our summers were spent in Michigan and Ohio water skiing and playing on our cousins' lake. My love for water kept me swimming all the way from the young age of six through college at Miami University in Ohio.

I have over 20 years of experience working with and coaching individuals in the educational, athletic, outdoor, non-profit, and professional arenas. After graduating from Miami University in Ohio with a degree in Exercise Science, I spent 2 years in Ohio serving as the assistant coach for the Miami University Women’s swim team. I devoted the next 18 years of my life as a team leader, trainer, and mentor for one of the world's largest non-profits. My work took me back and forth between Colorado and Ohio, Chili, New Zealand, and Fiji, but my favorite place to live is still Colorado where I grew up.

In the past 42 years of my life I have counted over 40+ teams that I have had a privilege to be a part of and to lead. The wisdom and insight I have gained from working alongside so many unique individuals, in many different contexts, is priceless. As a child I was always very curious about people and I loved listening to people tell me their stories. This passion has only grown over the years and I am so thankful that I can use my passions and desires to help others grow as I work as a nationally certified CoreClarity Facilitator.
